I produced this video as my final project for a fire ecology course at NC State University. Bachman's Sparrows are a small, somewhat unknown species endemic to the southeastern US. They generally inhabit longleaf pine-wiregrass communities, an endangered system dependent on frequent fire. I took a lot of this footage while working on a Bachman's Sparrow research project at Fort Bragg in 2016.
Nature with Nick
Nature with Nick is nature "mockumentary" that some friends and I produced while undergraduates at NC State. Throughout the series, we discuss the consequences of pollution, tame a Lime Horse, search for salamanders, uncover the progression of life, and even track down the very elusive Woodland Penguin.
Nicaragua 2016 Tropical Wildlife Ecology
I created this video as a summary of a 2016 spring break study abroad trip with NC State. During this tropical wildlife ecology trip, our class learned about sustainable coffee farms, mist-netting birds, camera traps and Sherman traps, and the different ecological regions of Nicaragua.
